In assisted IVF, hormones are administered to stimulate the ovaries and produce more mature eggs in a cycle. The reason we aim to develop multiple follicles is that by increasing the number of eggs, the chances of creating at least one healthy, high-quality embryo for transfer increase, thus improving the overall success rate of the treatment.<\/p>
